Uncle Milton National Geographic Toys

Toy Review Week 4

August 30, 2012
This is our final week of reviewing the Uncle Milton National Geographic toys and we have had hours of fun every week outside exploring, finding bugs and digging & inside putting cool foil puzzles together, playing Memory with pictures of cute baby animals and this week, playing old card games with a new National Geographic twist.

The Nat Geo Wild Wild Card Games include four Wild Animal Classic Card Games: Crazy Apes (Crazy Eights), Go Divin' (Go Fish), Old Ellie (Old Maid) and King of the Jungle (War).  My 3.5 year old daughter loves the colorful and detailed animal pictures which make playing the card games even more fun.  It also makes us be a little more creative in playing the card games with her.  For example, playing King of the Jungle (War), is usually a fast paced game.  With my daughter, it goes a little slower as she is determining which number is higher.  We also have her work out simple addition and subtraction with the numbers to make learning fun.

I love the Go Divin' (Go Fish) game with cards that have pictures of real sea animals - Lionfish, Puffer and Clown Fish, Stingrays, Dolphins, Great White Sharks and more.

These cards come in a tin case to keep them for many years of use.
