KidsArt Fine Art Classes

During the months of June through August, KidsArt expands its program to include a variety of summer camps.  These camps are designed to broaden perception, abilities and affinity for many different media, as well as spark a desire for future investigation and learning as a young artist.  Each week we offer two different camps.  These may include:

 NEWPrint Making, learn to create multiple images using the printmaking process while being exposed to unique materials and techniques.

             Skye, Teen, Lino Cut


●Cartoon Clay Sculpture 
students will learn to sculpt and paint some of their favorite cartoon series, such as SpongeBob, Snoopy, and the Smurfs.
 
●Anime/Cartooning 
students learn both the traditional American and Japanese style cartooning, including making your very own Anime style self-portrait

●Figure Drawing 
teaches drawing 3-dimensional simple step-by-step techniques to drawing the figure using media such as pastels, charcoal, and more.  You will also create a self-portrait.

A Palette of Art offers a different media each day, which includes figure drawing, clay sculpture, anime, cartooning, and more.

Under the Sea learn to create sea life through drawing, painting, and sculpting using clay and paper materials. Students will also draw and sculpt their own mythical sea creature.

●Pirates and Princess Students
 learn to create pirate and/or princess clay figurines, paper pop-ups, and more as they voyage into this fantasy world.

●4-6 year old Clay and Paper Sculpture student’s favorite characters from books, movies, and television will be drawn, painted, and/or sculpted in a variety of mediums such as colored pencils, markers, and watercolors.

Tuition:  $240.00 half day camp and $470.00 full day camp (prices includes all materials, 5 days of camp and 15 hours of instruction for half day or 30 hours for full day camp. 1 to 6 student to teacher ratio).
